Let me tell you this week we have planned internally some huge updates for coming year but first let's go over what we have been up to this past week.
We have started to update our template store to add more new free and more advanced paid templates. This week we released a new AI based template for interviews or job applications.
This allows you to let the chatbot take on any interviews and capture all the details before sending it to the relevant department.
Fun fact.... Since everything is dynamic you can make the interview as long or short as you like

We have had this feature for a while but a lot of users missed it or are not using it's full potential. SSO enables you to communicate with the same user across channels and sync all the information into one master profile. It prevents the need for constantly signing up again and you can provide a much smoother user experience.
To help you understand it more we published an article on this earlier this week to help you make full use of this amazing feature.
It is called: Talk with users across channels and it will be a very interesting read if you are not using this inside of your own chatbot builds yet. Of course if you rather read our step by step walkthrough there is also our knowledgebase ready and waiting for you.
So this week we have pushed 3 new updates. I know what you are thinking.... you are slacking... right?
But I promise even though they are few they are going to save you tons of time and let you work more efficiently so let's get to them as well.
Before this update you were limited to use the default ecommerce currency inside your ecommerce section settings. But this can provide issues if you want to use international prices based on the user's location.
This is now solved with this new update
As you can see on the action Stripe checkout url as well as the PayPal checkout url inside the flow builder you can now directly add the preferred currency.
This will also help you in more customized offers by using the user's own currency.
Pretty sweet right?
As we have increased our server capacity a lot these last couple of weeks we also have different IP addresses we use. In some use cases you might need them to whitelist it on your application or software to make the connection to UChat. If that is the case then do take a look at our entire list which we update in our knowledgebase earlier this week so you can add the ones currently missing and ensure the connections keep working.
Normally when creating your email templates you needed to test them by going to your flow builder and preview them to see how they look like when arriving at the inbox. This is no longer the case because now we have added the option to test the email template directly in the email builder instead
So you create and test in one space now which makes that endless going back and forth a thing of the past.
In the beginning I was not a big fan of the email templates but they grew on me over time and this update will help me as well to speed up those email marketing campaigns!
OTP (One Time Password) are a great way to verify accounts of users. You can now set it up directly inside of WhatsApp without the user ever needing to leave the chat to verify by email and so on.

Since the last few weeks we have added some additional updates to new and existing features. So in order for you to stay up to date we have summarized them in this documentation page. That way you can just watch all the cool stuff from that single page instead of needing to switch page by page.

We have added reaction triggers by popular demand from our users. What this does is it tracks whenever a user sends an emoji as response to any message in the conversation with the bot.
How this works we have added documentation for Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. They work pretty similar but just in case we documented each one for you.
We have added a convenient way of working together on conversations in live chat even if the conversation is assigned to one specific agent. It is called collaborators.

Well with a new message template type in WhatsApp that is definitely possible. You can provide limited time offers with this exciting new template type.

We added a new feature to broadcasts where you can have more control on how fast your broadcast is sending. By default it was always set to 100 users per minute for several reasons including account protection on certain channels and our own server stability.
But sometimes there is a need to drip it more gradually like with new email accounts in case of email marketing which is also possible inside of UChat.
This new feature will make sure you are able to do just that. If you want to know how it works just follow our step by step walkthrough.
Inside of WhatsApp there is a feature inside WhatsApp flows that allows you to auto populate values you already received once from users.
This is great because now users will only need to check if their existing data is correct and press submit, saving tons of time and also frustrations from the user's end.

We have a new SSO type by email which is a great new way of syncing users data through various channels
Subflow Labels is a perfect way of organizing your flows
New Bot user api actions have been added to the flow builder so you can use advanced setups without needing to know how to code yourself.

So what is in store for coming few weeks?
So the last few weeks of 2024 we are going to focus on new templates for the template store, update our own official chatbot to serve you even faster and we are preparing for Q1 features before spending some quality time with our families during Christmas.
