First off, what the heck is SSO? Imagine a digital master key that unlocks all your different bot profiles across various channels like Google or Facebook. Handy, right? Well, SSO is just that! It's a single, all-powerful bot user profile to rule them all (cue dramatic Lord of the Rings music).
Our tech wizards are currently toiling away in the UChat labs, putting SSO through its paces, tweaking and tinkering so it can help you connect all your different bot profiles. And that’s not all, folks! It also has the uncanny ability to synchronize data between these diverse bot profiles and channels. It's like having your personal digital butler tidying up your tech space!
Now, how does this SSO magic happen?
Just go to your chatbot settings and from there you will find the new hot feature "SSO Settings"
From here you will be able to set up the magic that will boost your user's experience with your chatbots like crazy!
How does it work?
Spot something called 'SSO flow' while navigating UChat? That's your handy-dandy status indicator showing a flow set as SSO. It's like a traffic cop directing which flows require a user login.
You can play traffic cop too, switching this setting on or off at a node's beginning, making you the master of your login destiny.
Based on your settings when setting up your SSO "Magic" you will be able to either forward the user to the next node or a completely new flow after a successful login 😃
The SSO magic doesn’t stop there! It also ensures data synchronization across different channels and profiles. Imagine this: you add a new tag to one profile, and poof, it appears on all your other profiles. It’s like having a troop of digital elves updating your data for you, making sure everything is synced and up-to-date.
