UChat's aim is to provide a platform that is designed by and for its users. That means we get lots of requests for improvements, and new features requests but above else the need to learn how to use it all.
So started this month inventorying which features are lacking guides and pushed out a total of 14 new videos to ensure you are able to make full use of all those features.
Of course we pushed updates as well so lot's to cover so let's get you up to speed with everything!

Using Claude to bring your AI chatbots to life!
One of the integration we brought a bit ago was Claude AI. It is by far one of the best AI platforms in the world and now available to you to use inside your chatbots.

Partner Addons guides
A big part of our users are also partners. This means they can get access to whitelabel settings to customize the UChat platform to their own brand. We have also brought many various addons to add more functionality to the whitelabel and we now recorded 10 different videos on how to use each one of those addons.

That should get you up to speed on everything new and recent on the partner whitelabel side 💪
Ticket API
Now hear me out as you might find this sound like it is designed for developers but it is anything but, I promise!
Recently we introduced a new feature called tickets. This allows you to set up lists for different use cases like support but also things such as:
project management
Sales Pipelines
Feedback collection
Bug tracking
And much more.
To allow advanced users access to these features remotely we added API endpoints that will enable them to create lists, update them and more totally remotely.
I hear you thinking you promised this feature was not for developers and you are right, I am getting to it 😅
So in order for regular users to access the same features without the need to understand coding, we have added those features now also directly inside the flow builder for you to easily access.

Pretty easy to use right? Nothing to difficult I believe at least, but that could be I might be a bit more advanced than others 😁
Still I think this should help others to build very cool and advanced setups without the need for coding

Advanced E-commerce setups
So as you might know UChat has its own native e-commerce system that enables you to build your own e-commerce store directly inside the platform and to use in your chatbots. Basically skipping the need to have a website that has the webshop like Woocommerce and or Shopify on it (although we have integrations for them as well).
The more advanced actions we have added to our API to be used and accessed remotely. But again as with the ticket API we wanted to make sure you can use the e-commerce API with the same kind of ease, so it has been added to the e-commerce actions inside the flow builder for you.
Here is how it works
So bit by bit we want to ensure you have the same level of freedom as developers might have using the same kind of endpoints, but built into the platform natively.

Create your own Chatbot navigation system with MapBox
Although we have had the integration with MapBox for some time you also requested we'd bring a guide on how to use it.
If you do not know what MapBox is (first of all where have you been hiding all this time? .... Just Joking 😛), it is an alternative to Google Maps which allows for some handy features inside your chatbot such as
Get geocodes by address. very easy if you have the address and need to get the longitude and latitude
Get address by geocodes. Bascally the reverse of the first option
Get directions. Get a detailed step by step navigation going on how to get from location A to location B

It opens up quite a bit of possibilities I would think. think of calculating the distance between locations for taxi companies so they can calculate the cab fees, just to name one.
So quite a few videos for one weeks time right?

A week full of updates
As mentioned updates and new features are a constant pleasure for us to bring as the majority have been suggested by you, our user base.
Some suggestions are very big and some bit smaller but the aim is to bring it to you so you have the platform you deserve.
Ok enough talk and let's get into the updates!
SSO by email
We have had the feature to create a SSO user and with it a master unified account that enables you to connect the same user from various channels and sync the data between channels. The issue with this was it required users to log into their Google or Facebook profile which in turn might cause friction because not everyone wants to do that.
So an update has been made to this feature where you can now also create the same SSO user but by email
Most times you already capture the email inside the chatbot anyway so now you can use it directly to create a SSO account. if the user give their email from any other channel you can check if an SSO user exists already and connect this channel to that account.
Now how cool is that!?!
Live chat filters
Some users communicate over emails and inside of live chat you could do the same when integrated with Sendgrid as it allows for two-way traffic. Now by default emails get mixed up with regular chat replies in the same conversation window which can get messy if you need to find certain emails sent.
That is now resolved with this display email messages only filter
This will hide all the chat conversation messages and let's you focus on the emails sent instead.
Remove all smart delays and scheduled messages
One of the biggest pains for when a user gets stuck was often caused because they ended up at a smart delay. This waits for a specific time and after lets the user continue to the connected step if there is any.
Another one is scheduled messages. A new recent feature in live chat is that you can schedule messages to be sent out at a later time and date. Really good for example when the business is near closing and you want to send out the message from support the next working day so you can ensure someone from support is there in case the user replies back.
But in some cases both smart delays and scheduled messages might not be needed anymore, so we added a new action to the bot user api action inside the flow builder in order to cancel them when needed.
It allows for more control and think that is always a positive something right 😊
