A very good Sunday to you all as I am writing this week's summary to ensure you are fully up to date with everything we have been working on this past week.

Without taking up too much of your time let's jump right in and get you up to speed!

Courses and Guides

This week we released a total of 15 new videos!

Yes you heard that right..... 15 videos of which 13 are for a new course.

Let's talk about the course first as it is an exciting one 😁

New Course

The course we released this week is for a recently added new feature to UChat which is called Tickets. Now the name might imply a single use case but I can assure you it goes way beyond it.

With tickets you are able to create lists that allow you to set up numerous things like:

  • Ticketing system

  • Project management

  • Sales Pipeline

  • Feedback tracking

  • Backlog

just to name a few of the possible use cases. This is great because you can now use UChat as a complete system for all those use cases and skip the need for software like support, crm for project management and pipelines and so on.

Now you tell me if that wouldn't save you quite the few bucks on a monthly basis you can put back into your pocket?!?

As mentioned we released a step by step course on how exactly you can set this up on your own workspace, and even share those lists with others just like templates!

3 new partner settings

We also released 3 new settings that will help partners better manage workspaces in the sub account of their whitelabel plan.

these new settings are:

  • Default timezone. This allows you to set the same timezone for each new workspace created under your partner domain. Especially useful if you are working in one region and want to prevent a wrong timezone to mess up any templates that contain date and time based logics

  • Default Language. Setting a default language for new workspace helps creating a specific standard for your clients and is useful if you work in specific region for example

  • S3 Storage. This allows you to use your own S3 storage you set up under the workspace where your partner plan is active and use it for all workspaces under your domain, instead of the UChat's native one

New SSO type

SSO stands for Single Sign On and allows you to create a master profile where you can connect the same user when he or she interacts from various channels.

The main issue was that we only supported Facebook and Google to let the user sign in and connect it that way. For lots of users this seemed intrusive so we found another way and push this live for you to use.

You can now connect the user to SSO by email!

This is great because in most instances you already capture it within your chatbots to create an email list, let users signup for ebooks and so on. From the user's perspective they do not have to do anything as their email will now be used to create that SSO profile.

Earlier this week we published a new article on how you can create the perfect customer service system directly inside of UChat. It covers how to use live chat, the AI assistant, shortcuts to prevent repetitive typing, our ticket system to create ticketing support and much more!

Updated documentation

Since we added more functionality to our existing features we wanted to make sure you are always able to view how it works through our documentation.

So we updated a few docs in order to ensure you understand the changes.

Smart delays

You are now also able to cancel smart delays. It could happen that a user gets stuck because of a smart delay. this happens most times because they are added to too many different flows and they will not trigger properly since the user is already waiting to continue from the smart delay.

So now you have the option to cancel that smart delay so the user can proceed as they need to.

Our documentation shows you how to do just that!

Connecting to Google Sheets

As there has been a few changes with the way we need to connect to Google Sheets it also affects how to import your sheets. In order to prevent any issues in your existing builds or new ones we added the new way of connecting to our knowledgebase so you will have no problem in resolving the issue

What's next?

Well that was it for this week but we are working on quite a few things which I am very excited about to share very soon. Our template store being one of them!
